Terms and Conditions



Film Bazaar Guideline


By completing the Registration Application and making payments due hereunder, the registrant (“Participant”) agrees, to abide and be bound by all rules, FILM BAZAAR Guidelines, regulations and written instructions (sometimes collectively and individually referred to as the “Market Rules” and listed here and at www.nfdcindia.com, of the FILM BAZAAR, and in particular the following:


A. Notice to Participants


The FILM BAZAAR is owned and operated by National Film Development Corporation Ltd (“NFDC”), a corporate entity under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. Neither the FILM BAZAAR nor NFDC is responsible for the activities, performance or failure to perform of any of its Member companies, Participants, Industry Attendees, Sponsors, Affiliates or any other party who may participate at the FILM BAZAAR or who may otherwise utilize the facilities or services of the FILM BAZAAR or NFDC (the “Participant” or “Participants”); nor are they liable for the actions, inactions or negligence of suppliers, utilities, vendors, screening theaters, hotels, transportation and other facilities and/or parties; nor for force majeure events including without limitation, strikes, work stoppage, war or military activities, civil disorders, criminal conduct of others, weather, fire, earthquakes, acts of God or other events beyond NFDC or FILM BAZAAR’s control. All FILM BAZAAR Participants shall indemnify and hold NFDC, its Members, officers, directors, employees and agents of each of the foregoing from and against any and all claims, damages and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of their agreements or alleged agreements with third parties.


All FILM BAZAAR Participants shall be responsible for their costs and fees associated with participating in the FILM BAZAAR, including but not limited to, all fees associated with registration and participation.


Participant expressly consents to receive via facsimile, e-mail or any other means, information or materials from FILM BAZAAR Participant may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying NFDC in writing.



B. Maintaining the Integrity of the FILM BAZAAR



The FILM BAZAAR has developed rules, regulations and written instructions (sometimes collectively and individually referred to as the “FILM BAZAAR Market Rules”) for all Participants. Each Participant and all of its employees, agents, consultants and guests, shall abide and be legally bound by the FILM BAZAAR Market Rules. Failure to do so may result in revocation of previously granted badges and/or prohibition of the company, its affiliates, and all such individuals from participating at future FILM BAZAAR. As the owner and operator of the FILM BAZAAR, NFDC has the right in its sole discretion to apply and interpret the FILM BAZAAR Market Rules. In the event of such revocation, NFDC shall have the absolute right to prohibit entry to Film BAZAAR. Also, in such event, the Participant shall not be entitled to a refund or rebate of any fees previously paid to the FILM BAZAAR or to NFDC, nor shall the FILM BAZAAR or NFDC be responsible in any way for any of the costs which the company, or such individuals, may have incurred in connection with preparation for, or attendance at the FILM BAZAAR.


NFDC reserves the right to revoke previously granted badges and/or prohibit a company, its affiliates, all its employees, and/or an individual from participating in a current or future FILM BAZAAR(s) for the following: (1) Participants who breach the safety and security of the FILM BAZAAR, which includes, but is not limited to, threats to other Participants, FILM BAZAAR staff, Hotel staff, or any person whatsoever, carrying of weapons, or violations or general security concerns at the FILM BAZAAR; (2) Participants who have been convicted of criminal copyright infringements.


C. Badge Eligibility and Restrictions



All the FILM BAZAAR delegates will have access to all sections of the International Film Festival of India which can be accessed by delegates to the festival


Only individuals and companies who have registered and paid their fees may participate in the FILM BAZAAR.


Participant Badges will allow access to the Co-production market (by appointment) and to the Buyers–Sellers Lounge in the Goa Marriott, Miramar, Panaji, Goa. No other badge allows access to the above.


All individuals who wish to enter the FILM BAZAAR must purchase a badge. Lost or stolen Photo Badges must be reported to Security and there may be a 24-hour waiting period before a new badge will be issued. The Film BAZAAR reserves the right to not issue a replacement badge.


Any person found to have produced, distributed, authorized or in any other way participated in the use of counterfeit badges will be subject to fines or other sanctions.


D. Promotional Material



Promotion material may not be handed out or left in the Hotel hallways, elevator lobbies, bathrooms, or anywhere on Hotel property. All such material will be confiscated and/or removed by Security.
