Film Bazaar 2010 Regulations



Acceptance

Participation in the Film Bazaar India implies adherence to the regulations as here set out.


The Managing Director of NFDC has the right to settle all cases unforeseen in the Regulations for Film Bazaar India Exhibitors (Stands) and General Participation, as well as to permit exceptions from the regulations in special, well-founded cases. The Film Bazaar India reserves the right to bar any person and/or company from the Film Bazaar India at its sole discretion.

Registration

Participation in the Film Bazaar India is only permitted to registered professionals, particularly producers, distributors, film financiers, cinema operators, buyers and sellers as well as representatives of the TV and home entertainment market.


To participate in the Film Bazaar India one needs to be registered with the Accreditation Department even if one receives free Market Badges as an Exhibitor.


Data Protection

Address and contact details submitted will be published in official Film Bazaar India publications, including for example the Exhibitors and Buyers Lists (print or online version), and the Industry Manual.

Conditions of Rental

Payment of rental fees

The rental fees for Stands as well as for equipment (AV and construction elements) must be settled in advance of the Film Bazaar.


Stands

Due to special logistical conditions, suppliers other than the Film Bazaar suppliers are not allowed. Prior consultation with the Film Bazaar is required for hanging of any material


Stands should be manned and operated by the participant or his representatives during the opening hours of the Film Bazaar for the duration of the market.


Stands Inspection

During the set-up period, a pre-opening inspection will be made with a Film Bazaar staff member confirming the delivery of ordered equipment and included items. A delivery slip will have to be signed by all Exhibitors.


Liability of the Organiser

The Film Bazaar is not liable for any theft of property (private or rented) and it is expected that Exhibitors take all necessary measures to protect any objects of value especially video cassettes/DVDs, laptops and other portable items.


The Film Bazaar reserves the right to charge Exhibitors for any damage to stand construction/offices, equipment and furniture.


Display and promotion material

Display of material or promotion of any film infringing legal judgments or international conventions of intellectual ownership is strictly prohibited.


Events

Consultation with the Film Bazaar is required for any events taking place on Film Bazaar premises. Only the licensed Film Bazaar caterer may be used.No prepared food may be brought on to the Film Bazaar premises.
