Awards

The Incredible India award of cash price of Rs. One Million is awarded to the best project in the Co-Production Market by the Ministry of Tourism towards project development.

The Incredible India Award

The Incredible India Award was presented to the best project in the Co-Production Market this year. A sum of 10.00 Lakhs was extended by the Ministry of Tourism for a deserving project presented at FB 2011 Co-Production Market towards the project’s development.

Chauranga won the Incredible India Award at FB 2011, the film will be directed by writer-director Bikas Mishra and produced by Anticlock films an independent production company set up by director-producer Onir and actor-producer Sanjay Suri.

Bikas Mishra, director, Chauranga shares his thoughts on the Co-Production Market – "The Co-Production Market was immensely fruitful for our project mainly due to the Incredible India Award. We are now in the position to start the Pre-Production work on the film, which is a great start for us immediately after the conclusion of the market. Also, the co-production market is where we had our meeting with the representative of the Goteborg International Film Festival Fund, so the market helped us connect with the Film Fund, and the funding we have received from GIFFF is the off-shoot of the meetings at the market.".
